This two night/three day seasonal BRDC event showcases the crown jewel of Southwest Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains: the Mount Rogers National Recreation Area, home to Virginia’s three tallest peaks. With diverse altitudes and a variety of ecosystems within close reach, it’s a naturalist’s paradise. Each Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall we offer a weekend of field trips led by expert guides, making the area’s unique ecology engaging and accessible for everyone, from curious beginners to seasoned naturalists.
